DAY TICKET RULES

  • All nets, unhooking mats and weigh slings MUST be dipped in our dip tanks, and then left on the bank for a minimum of 15 minutes prior to being used. 

  • No keepnets unless fishing an organised event.

  • No night fishing.

  • Barbless hooks only.

  • Maximum hook size – 10.

  • Maximum of 2 rods per angler.

  • No rods to be left unattended.

  • In line method feeders only; No elasticated methods.

  • No braid or Dacron.

  • No fishing without a landing net and disgorger.

  • All anglers on Poplar lake must have a specimen sized landing net and unhooking mat.

  • Mats must be used when unhooking fish or taking photos.

  • No gardening of any kind; Any snags or vegetation concerns should be notified to the owner.

  • Once set up, you must not move between lakes.

  • Fish are to be immediately returned back to the lake they were caught from.

  • No fish are to be taken away from our fishery.

  • ALL anglers must hold a valid EA Rod licence.

  • All anglers must fish from designated platforms.

  • No under 16's unless supervised by an adult at all times. 

  • No fires or BBQ’s of any kind.

  • No dogs.

  • No carp sacks.

  • Rubbish must be placed in the bins provided.

BAIT RULES

  • No nuts.

  • No cat or dog food.

  • No bloodworm or joker.

  • No floating baits.

  • Ground bait 1KG limit applies.

  • No boilies (Except Poplar lake - 1KG limit applies).

  • 2 tins of meat limit (340g each)

  • Bait bans are imposed for the health and welfare of the fish and the lakes themselves and are strictly enforced. Please put leftover bait in the dustbins provided.

MATCH RULES

  • Barbless hooks only.

  • Maximum hook size – 10.

  • Minimum of 3 keepnets.

  • Carp and silver fish in separate nets (Any carp smaller than average hand size to go into silvers net)

  • All keepnets must be thoroughly submerged in our diptanks as soon as you arrive and laid on the bank until the draw.

  • No keepnets are to be placed back into keepnet bags, unless the bag has also been dipped. 

  • All keepnets must be laid on the bank behind your peg. Keepnets are to not enter the water until 10 minutes before the start of the match. 

  • You have 15 minutes after the match ends to land any fish being played - However you must shout as soon as the whistle is blew to alert the organiser.

  • All fish to be landed with a net.

  • All fish to be placed in the keepnet (Not thrown).

  • No knotted nets. 

  • No fishing on after the match. 

  • No Braid or Dacron.

  • In line method feeders only; No elasticated methods.

  • No gardening of any kind; Any snags or vegetation concerns should be notified to the owner.

  • Fish are to be returned back to the lake they were caught from.

  • ALL anglers must hold a valid EA Rod licence.

  • All anglers must fish from designated platforms.

  • Rubbish must be placed in the bins provided.

BAIT RULES:

- No cat or dog food

- No bloodworm or joker

- No nuts

- Boilies allowed on the hook only (no loose feeding)

- 1KG groundbait limit per angler per match. 

- No floating baits

- No bait to enter the waters after the match has ended. Please either take home, or put into the bait bin which will be situated next to the main bins.

- We politely ask all anglers to use all bait in moderation.

KEEPNET WEIGHT LIMITS:

  • Maximum weight of 50lb per keepnet.

  • Nets upto 55lb will be knocked back to 50lb

  • Nets weighing over 55lb will be disqualified
