DAY TICKET RULES

  • Strictly no night fishing.

  • Manufactured barbless hooks only. (Max Size 10).

  • Maximum of 2 rods per angler.

  • No rods to be left unattended.

  • All feeders to be in line and free running; No elasticated methods.

  • No braid or Dacron.

  • No fishing without a disgorger.

  • Mats must be used when unhooking fish or taking photos.

  • No gardening of any kind; Any snags or vegetation concerns should be notified to the owner.

  • For bio-security measures, moving lakes is forbidden once you have started fishing.

  • Fish are to be immediately returned back to the lake they were caught from.

  • No fish are to be taken away from our fishery.

  • All anglers must hold a valid EA Rod licence.

  • All anglers must fish from designated platforms 

  • Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

  • No fires or BBQ’s.

  • No dogs.

BAIT RULES

  • No cat or dog foods.

  • No nuts.

  • No bloodworm or joker.

  • No floating baits or surface fishing.

  • Ground bait 1KG limit applies. (Must be fed in cup or feeder only. No throwing).

  • No boilies.

  • No superglue or varnishes.

  • Bait bans are imposed for the health and welfare of the fish and the lakes themselves and are strictly enforced. Please put leftover bait in the dustbins provided.

BIO-SECURITY

  • All anglers must use Willow Lakes landing nets and mats.

  • No towels of any kind are to be bought onto site - You must use the towels we provide. 

  • Used nets, mats and towels must be placed in the container labelled "Used Equipment" immediately after fishing. 

  • No keepnets unless fishing in an organised event. 

  • Moving lakes is forbidden once you have began fishing.

POPLAR LAKE - Nets and Mats are hung at each peg ready to be used. Once you have finished your session, please rehang these back on your peg. 

WILLOW LAKE AND SYCAMORE LAKE - Nets are hung up on a board when you enter the fishery, and mats and towels are stored in a plastic storage container. Once you have finished your session, please put all equipment in the blue used equipment barrel.

MATCH RULES

  • Manufactured barbless hooks only – Max size 10.

  • All anglers must have a minimum of 3 keepnets.

  • All keepnets must be dry on arrival to the fishery. Wet nets in a stink bag, with or without water are not acceptable. You will not be able to fish. 

  • All keepnets must be fully submerged in our dip tank as soon as you arrive and laid on the bank until the draw. This includes stink bags.

  • After the draw you must lay all keepnets on the bank behind your peg.

  • Keepnets must not enter the water until 10 minutes before the start of the match. (09:50AM).

  • You have 15 minutes after the match ends to land any fish being played – Please alert the match organiser.

  • No braid or dacron.

  • ALL FISH to be placed into the keepnet (NOT THROWN).

  • No knotted nets.

  • Carp and silver fish in separate keepnets. (Carp upto 1 lb to go in the silvers net).

  • All fish must be netted with a landing net (With the exception of perch and gudgeon only).

  • No fishing on after the match.

  • No gardening unless permission is given by the owner.

  • All feeders to be in line and free running - No elasticated methods.

  • All anglers must have a valid EA rod licence.

BAIT RULES:

  • No dog or cat foods.

  • No nuts.

  • No bloodworm or joker.

  • No floating baits or surface fishing.

  • Ground bait 1KG limit applies. (Must be fed in a cup or feeder only. No throwing.

  • No boilies.

  • No superglue or varnishes.

  • 2 tins of meat limit (340g each)

  • No bait to enter the water after fishing. Please take home or use the provided bins.

  • We politely ask all anglers to use all bait in moderation.

KEEPNET WEIGHT LIMITS:

  • Maximum weight of 50lb per keepnet.

  • Nets upto 55lb will be knocked back to 50lb

  • Nets weighing over 55lb will be disqualified
